In 2005, Matt Gillette joined Northwestern Mutual. Matt is focused on providing outstanding customer service and guidance related to his clients’ needs. Matt is a leader in the medical market where he primarily serves physicians, surgeons, and dental practitioners, helping them with their comprehensive financial planning.

Matt uses a personalized, concierge-level approach. Matt’s primary goal is to help physician’s become fully aware of their unique financial options and to navigate them successfully. Financial planning is about identifying the things that are important to you in your life and helping you achieve them. Matt is passionate about helping his clients identify and execute their unique goals and ambitions. Matt realizes that everyone's financial situation is unique. His distinctive comprehensive financial planning process analyzes a physician’s financial position and lifestyle, creates strategic action plans, and then executes these plans.

Matt takes complicated concepts and simplifies them into discernible action points for his clients. He also serves the needs of business owners and attorneys assisting them with retirement solutions and estate-planning strategies.

In 2011 Matt was a Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Roundtable. Founded in 1927, MDRT provides its members with resources to improve their technical knowledge, sales and client service while maintaining a culture of high ethical standards.

MDRT’s mission is to be a valued, member-driven international network of leading insurance and investment financial services professionals who serve their clients by exemplary performance and the highest standards of ethics, knowledge, service and productivity.

Of the 3.5 million current insurance and financial advisors globally, approximately only 35,000 (or 1%) qualify for the prestigious recognition as members of Million Dollar Round Table.

The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA)

Matt is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). The mission of NAIFA is to advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, enhance business and professional skills, and promote the ethical conduct of our members.

NAIFA is a national nonprofit organization representing the interests of more than 70,000 insurance and financial advisors nationwide, through its federation of over 900 state and local associations. Founded in 1890, NAIFA is the nation’s largest financial services membership association.  

 Physicians Nationwide
